So many people around the world know of Asbury Park, made famous by its celebrated son, Bruce Springsteen. It’s really more than a beach, it’s a way of life found on the Jersey shore which is over 100 years old. Asbury Park includes a boardwalk with shops and small food spots as well as the 1920s Convention Hall. It is, to say the least, a hustle and bustle place full of people and commerce.

The storm had just passed over us and was headed over the Atlantic Ocean, leaving behind the moody clouds and watery pools. What struck me about this place is that among the hundreds of people and commerce, I found a slice of beautiful unique nature.

The moment I captured is not at all how most people experience this beach, in fact, most people would not place this shot at the Jersey Shore, but for me, it is witnessing that the power and nature of beauty are found everywhere.
